IAS Friends and Fellows Coffee Morning

On Tuesday 13 January, the IAS will be hosting an IAS Friends and Fellows Coffee Morning, where they will welcome current IAS Residential Fellow Dr Gemma Sou.

Dr Gemma Sou, Monash University

Gemma is a Senior Lecturer in Human Geography at Monash University, Melbourne. Her main body of work draws on feminist and postcolonial thought as well as cultural geography to explore how families experience and tackle disasters during their everyday lives. This body of her research aims to develop a more human-centred scholarship on disasters. She is also passionate about working with disaster affected families and artists to produce and theorise creative research outputs.
